Just under six weeks after his maiden victory on the PGA Tour, Robert MacIntyre celebrates another emotional success on the DP World Tour. In front of his home crowd, the Scot showed strong nerves, especially on the final holes of the Genesis Scottish Open 2024, and overcame Australia’s Adam Scott with an impressive final spurt. MacIntyre relied on equipment from Titleist and TaylorMade for his extraordinary triumph.

The Travelers Championship 2024: WITB Scottie Scheffler

After an exciting season start, Scottie Scheffler secured the win back at the Players Championship 2024, the Masters Tournament 2024 and the RBC Heritage. Scheffler continued to rely on TaylorMade and the new Spider Tour X putter, which his Tour colleague and TaylorMade staff player Rory McIlroy recommended to him in March and won back to back. After his win at The Memorial Tournament, Scheffler books in his sixth win of the season at the Travelers Championship 2024.

WITB: Nacho Elvira wins the Soudal Open 2024 with Callaway

Nacho Elvira wins on the DP World Tour for the second time in his career. After his victory at the Cazoo Open in 2021, the Spaniard secured victory at the Soudal Open 2024 in Belgium on a thrilling final day. After three dominant days, Nacho Elvira had his problems, especially after a rain interruption on the final day, allowing his two pursuers Niklas Norgaard Moller and Romain Langasque to close the gap. In the end, however, a round of 71 was enough for the triumph in Antwerp. For his victory, Elvira opted for a bag similar to the one Xander Schauffele used at the PGA Championship the previous week and therefore put his trust in the equipment supplier Callaway.

WITB Nacho Elvira 2024 – With Callaway to victory

Nacho Elvira has the latest Paradym AI Smoke Driver in the Triple Diamond Max edition in his bag. This has a neutral to fade-oriented clubface, which is particularly aimed at low handicappers and tour pros. The club offers good handling from the tee, which should ensure a high ball launch and low spin. Among the fairway woods, Elvira also uses the same Triple Diamond model for golfers with a higher swing speed who are looking for precise ball control and a penetrating, low-spin ball flight. A Callaway X Forged Utility Wood bridges the gap to the Callaway Apex TCB irons. The Spaniard relies on the latest model from this year. When it comes to wedges, the newly crowned Tour winner puts the Callaway JAWS MD5 (50° and 54°) and the Callaway JAWS Raw (58°) in his bag. For the putter, Elvira opts for the White Hot OG Rossie from Callaway’s Odyssey brand, which specializes in the manufacture of putters. The Callaway Chrome Tour golf ball completes the Spaniard’s bag.

It was a thrilling competition, but in the end Xander Schauffele won the 2024 PGA Championship under his own steam and with it his first major victory. With seven PGA Tour victories and six top five finishes in major tournaments, he was considered one of the best golfers without a major title – until now.

Even though it’s been two years since his last victory, it was his mental assertiveness that carried Xander Schauffele all the way to his major win. Especially with Bryson DeChambeau and Viktor Hovland breathing down his neck, the 30-year-old was aware that he had to play his game patiently. Even though he did not reach his target of 22 under par, 21 under par was enough for him to win and set the all-time record for the lowest major score. He relied mainly on Callaway for this performance.

In his bag he has the latest Paradym AI Smoke Driver in the Triple Diamond edition. This has a neutral to fade-orientated clubface, which is aimed particularly at low handicappers and tour pros. In addition to a Callaway JAWS Raw (52°), Schauffele complements his bag with Vokey SM 10 wedges (56°, 60°) from Titleist. His Odyssey Las Vegas putter is a prototype.

WITB: Brooks Koepka with Srixon and Cleveland to Fourth LIV title

The PGA Championship winner in 2023 switched to Srixon/Cleveland as his sponsor two years ago and has been playing with clubs and tour bags from the Japanese brand ever since. However, Brooks Koepka first had to look for the right partner. In addition to various companies, Brooks Koepka also tried out different models from the manufacturers. Now he’s winning again on the LIV Golf Tour and we take a look inside the tour winner’s bag.

For his driver, he opted for the ZX5 LS Mk II model from Srixon instead of the “pro model” ZX7. With a weight in the back part of the sole, the ZX5 helps to achieve a straighter swing path and slightly more launch height compared to the ZX7, while the low-spin version also helps to achieve a penetrating ball flight and therefore more length, at least for the pros on the tours. For the fairway wood, Koepka looks back to the 2017 model from TaylorMade. The M series was the predecessor of the current Stealth models and seems to have taken a liking to the American. The M2 fairway wood with 16.5 degrees makes it into his set up. The fairway wood is complemented by the Nike Vapor Pro Driving Iron. The sporting goods manufacturer’s iron, which was released back in 2015, has a centre of gravity directly in the sweet spot and, despite the now nine-year-old technology, seems to be a bank in the setup of the renewed LIV winner.

For his irons, he then opts again for Srixon and the blades from the latest 2023 series. The ZX7 Mk II irons impress with their slim design and offer Koepka the possibility of different flight curves and the best possible control over ball flight and spin.

He also relies on his equipment supplier for the wedges and opts for the sister company Cleveland. The RTX Zipcore wedges are also in his bag for the 2023 season and seem to have won his trust around the green. In addition to a putter from Scottie Cameron in the Newport 2 Tour version, the Srixon Z-Star Diamond golf balls make it into Koepka’s bag.
