XXIO expands its ball portfolio with the new Hyper RD golf ball. This model targets golfers seeking a combination of a high, stable ball flight with a soft feel and those looking for excellent compatibility with their XXIO clubs.
The Hyper RD is designed for a high launch angle and relatively low spin to achieve a more consistent, higher ball flight with ample carry that remains stable even in challenging wind conditions. This is based on XXIO’s Rebound-Frame structure, which supports efficient ball deformation at impact to promote launch angle without requiring players to adjust their swing.
Inside, an advanced three-piece construction is used. A highly resilient middle layer reduces excess spin and encourages forward ball roll, while the core is designed for consistent energy transfer across various swing speeds. This results in consistent distance and predictable ball behavior.
Additional aerodynamics are provided by the new 362 Speed Dimple pattern. Seven differently sized dimples reduce air resistance and help maintain speed and flight stability through to landing.
In short game play, the Hyper RD features a newly developed Hyper Soft Cover. This ionomer cover enhances grip on pitches, chips, and short iron shots, providing reliable spin and a soft, urethane-like feel without compromising durability and longevity.
On the green, the ball has an updated alignment aid to assist visual target alignment and support a stable putt start.
