XXIO expands its ball portfolio with the new Hyper RD golf ball. This model targets golfers who want to combine a high, stable ball flight with a soft feel and seek high compatibility with their XXIO clubs.
The Hyper RD is designed for a high launch angle and relatively low spin to produce a more consistent, higher ball flight with plenty of carry, which remains stable even in challenging wind conditions. This is enabled by XXIO’s patented Rebound-Frame structure, which efficiently deforms the ball at impact and promotes launch angle without requiring players to adjust their swing.
Inside, it features an advanced three-piece construction. A highly resilient mid-layer reduces excessive spin and promotes forward momentum, while the core is designed for consistent energy transfer across a range of swing speeds. This results in consistent distance and predictable ball behavior.
Additional aerodynamics are provided by the new 362 Speed Dimple Pattern. Seven differently sized dimples reduce air resistance and help maintain speed and flight stability through to landing.
In short game play, the Hyper RD uses a newly developed Hyper Soft Cover. This ionomer shell is engineered for increased grip on pitches, chips, and short iron shots, providing reliable spin and a soft, urethane-like feel without sacrificing durability and longevity.
On the green, the ball features an updated alignment aid that supports visual targeting and helps achieve a stable putter start.
