XXIO expands its ball portfolio with the new Hyper RD golf ball. This model is designed for golfers seeking a high, stable ball flight combined with a soft feel, as well as those looking for high compatibility with their XXIO clubs.
The Hyper RD is engineered for a high launch angle and comparatively low spin, aiming to produce a more consistent, higher ball flight with significant carry that remains stable even in challenging windy conditions. This is based on the Rebound Frame structure developed by XXIO, which supports efficient ball deformation at impact and promotes launch angle without requiring golfers to alter their swing motion.
Internally, it features an advanced three-component construction. A highly resilient middle layer reduces excessive spin and promotes forward ball motion, while the core is designed for uniform energy transfer across varying swing speeds. This results in consistent distance and predictable ball behavior.
Additional aerodynamics come from the new 362 Speed Dimple Pattern. Seven differently sized dimples reduce air resistance and help maintain speed and flight stability through to landing.
In the short game, the Hyper RD uses a newly developed Hyper Soft Cover. This ionomer cover is designed to enhance grip on pitches, chips, and short iron shots, providing reliable spin and a soft, urethane-like feel without compromising durability and longevity.
