WITB: Justin Rose’s Clubs at the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open

From driver to putter: We take a look inside Justin Rose’s bag to reveal the clubs that helped him set a tournament record at Torrey Pines.

Even at 45, Englishman Justin Rose dominated the field at the Torrey Pines during the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open on the PGA Tour, securing his first title of the season with a seven-stroke lead and a tournament record of 23 under par. A look into his bag shows a versatile club selection that matches his impressive game in Southern California.

Justin Rose’s Driver Choice: Callaway

Off the tee, Rose uses a Callaway driver with a 9° loft. The Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond Max is a high-performance club designed for experienced players seeking maximum control, a compact head shape, and low spin, while benefiting from the forgiveness of the ‘Max’ design. Its Ai Smart Face technology utilizes real player data to optimize the clubface and create multiple sweet spots, stabilizing spin and launch angle on off-center hits. At the Farmers Insurance Open, Rose achieved a maximum drive length of 352 yards (about 322 m) with this driver.

Fairway Woods for Every Shot

Complementing his driver, Rose carries a TaylorMade M6 3-wood with 15° loft featuring Twist-Face technology for explosive shots off both the turf and tee. The improved Speed Pocket groove in the sole increases face flexibility, enhancing trampoline effect and energy transfer even on low-face strikes. This results in higher, longer shots with reduced distance loss on mishits. Additionally, he carries a TaylorMade QiD4 7-wood with 21° loft, ideal for mid-to-long approach shots and producing a high ball flight for soft landings, especially useful from the rough.

Irons and Wedges Combining Control and Feel

For irons, Rose chooses Japanese Miura clubs depending on course conditions: TC-502 series 4 and 5 utility irons and MC-502 series 6 through pitching wedge irons. The TC models are tour-cavity backs offering more forgiveness, whereas the MC models are muscle-cavity (blades) delivering maximum control and feel but requiring precision. For wedges, he relies on Titleist Vokey Design SM10 wedges at 52° and 56°, or Vokey Design WedgeWorks at 60° loft.

His final club is a Scotty Cameron Phantom T-5 Tour Prototype putter from Carlsbad, California, composed of 303 stainless steel and 6061 aircraft aluminum in a mallet design. Rose has been testing this putter since September 2025, although it is not yet commercially available. Like many pro golfers, he plays with the Titleist Pro V1x golf ball.
