WITB: Justin Rose’s Clubs at the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open

From driver to putter: We take a look inside Justin Rose’s bag and reveal the clubs that helped him achieve a record victory at Torrey Pines.

Even at 45, Englishman Justin Rose dominated his competitors at Torrey Pines during the Farmers Insurance Open 2026 on the PGA Tour. With a seven-stroke lead and a tournament record of 23 under par, the South African-born player secured his first title of the season. A look inside his bag shows that his club selection is as versatile as his game, which he impressively demonstrated in Southern California.

Justin Rose relies on Callaway for his driver

Starting off from the tee, Justin Rose uses a Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond Max driver with a 9° loft. This high-performance club is tailored for experienced players seeking maximum control, a compact clubhead, and low spin without sacrificing the forgiveness of the ‘Max’ design. It combines tour-proven performance with enhanced stability thanks to the Ai Smart Face technology, which uses real player data to optimize the clubface and create multiple sweet spots across the surface, stabilizing spin and launch angle on off-center hits. At the Farmers Insurance Open, Rose achieved a maximum drive length of 352 yards (approx. 322 meters) with this driver.

Fairway woods for every shot

Complementing his driver, Rose carries a 3-wood from TaylorMade, the M6, with a 15° loft. Featuring Twist-Face technology similar to the M5 series, it delivers explosive shots from both the tee and the ground. An enhanced Speed Pocket—a cutout in the sole—increases clubhead flexibility, amplifies the trampoline effect on impact, and transfers more energy to a larger area of the ball, resulting in higher, longer shots with less distance loss on mishits.

Rose also includes a TaylorMade 7-wood with a 21° loft in his bag. Ideal for mid- to long-range approach shots, it produces a high ball flight for a soft landing on the green and performs well from the rough. This club is the new TaylorMade QiD4, recently introduced but already popular among many tour pros.

Justin Rose’s irons combine control and feel

Depending on course conditions, Rose selects a 4- or 5-iron utility club from Japanese manufacturer Miura’s TC-502 series. For his standard irons (6 through PW), he uses Miura MC-502 irons. The key difference is that TC models are tour cavity irons, while MC models are muscle cavity irons. Muscle-back blades offer maximum control and intense feedback through compact heads but require precise strikes. Cavity-back irons feature a hollowed-out back to redistribute weight around the perimeter, offering greater forgiveness, a lower center of gravity, and higher ball flight.

For wedges, Rose trusts Titleist’s heritage, using either Vokey Design SM10 wedges with 52° or 56° loft or a Vokey Design WedgeWorks with 60° loft.

The final club in Rose’s bag is a Scotty Cameron putter from Carlsbad, California. The Scotty Cameron Phantom T-5 Tour Prototype, not yet commercially available, has
