WITB: Justin Rose’s Clubs That Powered His 2026 Farmers Win

From driver to putter: We take a look inside Justin Rose’s bag and reveal the clubs behind his record win at Torrey Pines.

At 45 years old, Englishman Justin Rose dominated the competition at Torrey Pines during the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open on the PGA Tour. With a seven-stroke lead and a tournament record of 23 under par, the South African-born player secured his first title of the season. A look into his bag reveals a versatile selection of clubs matching the impressive game he showed in Southern California.

Justin Rose’s Driver Choice: Callaway

Off the tee, Rose uses a Callaway driver with a 9° loft. The Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond Max is a high-performance club favored by experienced players seeking maximum control, a compact head, and low spin, without sacrificing the forgiveness of the “Max” design. It features Ai Smart Face technology that uses real player data to optimize the clubface, creating multiple “sweet spots” across its surface to stabilize spin and launch angle on off-center hits. At the Farmers Insurance Open, Rose achieved a max drive distance of 352 yards (approximately 322 meters) with this driver.

Fairway Woods for Every Shot

Supporting his driver, Rose carries a 3-wood from TaylorMade called the M6, with a 15° loft. This club incorporates Twist Face technology for explosive shots from both the ground and tee, along with an evolved Speed Pocket — a sole cutout that accelerates the ball even on low strikes. The Speed Pocket increases face flexibility, amplifies the trampoline effect at impact, and transfers more energy over a wider area of the ball, resulting in higher, longer shots with less distance loss on poor contact.

Rose’s bag also includes a TaylorMade 7-wood with a 21° loft, perfect for medium to long approach shots. The high ball flight enables a soft landing on the green, making it ideal for shots from the rough. He uses the new TaylorMade QiD4, recently introduced but already popular among many pros.

Irons and Wedges Unit Justin Rose’s Control and Feel

For irons, Rose opts for 4- or 5-utility irons from Japanese brand Miura’s TC-502 series, depending on course conditions. His regular irons (6–PW) are also Miura, called MC-502. The main difference is that TC models are tour cavity back irons, while MC series are muscle cavity (muscle back) irons. Muscle-back irons offer maximum control and intense feel due to their compact heads but require precise strikes. Cavity-back irons feature back cavities that shift weight to the clubhead’s edges, providing more forgiveness, a lower center of gravity, and a higher ball flight.

For wedges, Rose trusts Titleist’s traditional clubs, either Vokey Design SM10 with 52° or 56° loft, or a Vokey Design WedgeWorks with 60° loft.

The final club in Rose’s bag is a Scotty Cameron putter from Carlsbad, California. The Scotty Cameron Phantom T-5 Tour Prototype, not yet commercially available, has been tested by Rose since September 2025
