WITB: Justin Rose’s Clubs at the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open

From driver to putter: A look inside Justin Rose’s bag reveals the clubs behind his record-setting win at Torrey Pines.

At 45 years old, Englishman Justin Rose dominated the field at Torrey Pines during the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open on the PGA Tour, securing his first title of the season with a seven-stroke lead and a tournament record of 23-under par. His diverse club selection perfectly matched the versatility of his game showcased in Southern California.

Justin Rose opts for Callaway driver

Starting off the tee, Rose uses a Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond Max driver with a 9° loft. Known for high performance, this club offers experienced players maximum control, a compact head shape, and low spin, all while maintaining the forgiveness benefits of the ‘Max’ design. Featuring Ai Smart Face technology, it stabilizes spin and launch angles even on off-center hits, creating multiple sweet spots. Rose achieved a maximum drive distance of 352 yards (around 322 meters) with this driver at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Fairway woods for every shot

Complementing his driver, Rose carries a TaylorMade M6 3-wood with a 15° loft, featuring Twist-Face technology for powerful shots off both the turf and tee. Its enhanced Speed Pocket increases face flexibility and energy transfer, resulting in higher, longer shots with reduced distance loss on imperfect strikes. A TaylorMade QiD4 7-wood with a 21° loft is also in his bag, ideal for mid-to-long approach shots with a high ball flight ensuring soft landings on the green and particularly useful from the rough.

Irons combining control and feel

Rose selects either a 4 or 5 utility iron from Japanese brand Miura’s TC-502 series depending on course conditions, while his regular irons (6–PW) are Miura MC-502 models. The TC series features tour cavity backs offering more forgiveness and higher ball flights, whereas the MC series muscle-back irons deliver maximum control and a strong feel but require precise striking. For wedges, he trusts Titleist’s Vokey Design SM10 with 52° or 56° lofts or the Vokey Design WedgeWorks 60° wedge. Finally, his putter is the Scotty Cameron Phantom T-5 Tour Prototype, crafted from 303 stainless steel and 6061 aircraft aluminum in a mallet design, which Rose has been testing since September 2025. For golf balls, like many pros, he relies on the Titleist Pro V1x.
