From driver to putter: We take a look inside Justin Rose’s bag and reveal the clubs that helped him set a record at Torrey Pines.
At 45 years old, Englishman Justin Rose dominated his rivals at Torrey Pines during the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open on the PGA Tour. With a seven-shot lead and a tournament record 23 under par, the South African-born player secured his first title of the season. A look inside his bag shows that his club selection is as versatile as his game, which he impressively demonstrated in Southern California.
Justin Rose’s Driver: A Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond Max
Justin Rose tees off with a Callaway driver featuring a 9° loft. The Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond Max is a high-performance club designed for experienced players seeking maximum control, a compact head shape, and low spin without sacrificing the forgiveness of the “Max” design. It combines tour-proven performance with enhanced stability through Ai Smart Face technology, which uses real player data to optimize the clubface and create multiple “sweet spots” across its surface. This technology helps stabilize spin and launch angles on off-center hits. During the Farmers Insurance Open, Rose achieved a maximum drive distance of 352 yards (about 322 meters) with this driver.
Versatile Fairway Woods for Every Shot
Complementing his driver, Rose carries a 3-wood from TaylorMade called the M6, featuring a 15° loft. Similar to the M5 series, it includes Twist-Face technology which promotes explosive shots from both the tee and the turf. An advanced Speed Pocket cut in the sole enhances clubface flexibility, boosting trampoline effect and energy transfer to the ball, resulting in higher, longer shots with less distance loss on mishits. Additionally, Rose uses a 7-wood from TaylorMade with a 21° loft, ideal for mid- to long-range approach shots. Its high ball flight helps the ball land softly on the green and is especially useful from rough. This club is the new QiD4 model, recently introduced and already popular among professionals.
Irons and Wedges That Blend Control and Feel
Depending on course conditions, Rose chooses either a 4- or 5-iron utility club from Japanese brand Miura’s TC-502 series. For his standard irons ranging from 6-iron to pitching wedge, he also trusts Miura irons, specifically the MC-502 model. The TC-series are Tour Cavity irons offering more forgiveness with cavities behind the face that shift weight to the perimeter, increasing forgiveness and launch, while the MC models are Muscle Cavity irons (blades) providing maximum control and a tactile feel for precise shots with compact heads requiring exact contact. For wedges, Rose relies on Titleist’s classic Vokey Design, using either SM10 models with 52° or 56° loft or the Vokey Design WedgeWorks with a 60° loft.
The final club in Rose’s bag is a Scotty Cameron putter from Carlsbad, California. The Scotty Cameron Phantom T-5 Tour Prototype, which he has been testing since September 2025, is not yet commercially available. Made from 303 stainless steel and
