WITB: Justin Rose’s Clubs at the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open

From driver to putter: we take a look inside Justin Rose’s bag and reveal the clubs that helped him achieve a record win at Torrey Pines.

Even at 45 years old, Englishman Justin Rose dominated his competitors at Torrey Pines during the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open on the PGA Tour. With a seven-stroke lead and a tournament record of 23 under par, the South African-born player secured his first title of the season. A look inside his bag shows that his selection of clubs is as versatile as the game he masterfully displayed in Southern California.

Justin Rose Trusts Callaway for His Driver

Starting from the tee, Rose uses a Callaway driver lofted at 9°. The Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond Max is a high-performance club tailored for experienced players seeking maximum control, a compact head shape, and low spin, while benefiting from the forgiving “Max” construction. It combines tour-tested performance with improved stability through the Ai Smart Face technology, which employs real player data to optimize the clubface and creates multiple sweet spots across the face. This technology stabilizes spin and launch angle on off-center hits. At the Farmers Insurance Open, Rose achieved a maximum drive distance of 352 yards (about 322 meters) with this driver.

Fairway Woods for Every Shot

Complementing his driver is a TaylorMade M6 3-wood lofted at 15°, featuring Twist-Face technology that delivers explosive shots from both the ground and the tee. An evolution of the Speed Pocket—a sole cutout—increases ball speed even on low-face strikes by enhancing clubface flexibility and trampoline effect, transmitting more energy over a larger ball area. The result: higher, longer shots with less loss on imperfect contact.

Also in his bag is a TaylorMade QiD4 7-wood with a 21° loft, ideal for mid to long approach shots. It produces a high ball flight for soft landings on the green and performs well from rough lies. This new model was recently introduced and is already favored by many touring professionals.

Justin Rose’s Irons Combine Control and Feel

For irons, Rose selects either a 4 or 5 utility iron from the Japanese manufacturer Miura’s TC-502 series depending on course conditions. His regular irons (6–PW) are also Miura, from the MC-502 series. The TC models are Tour-Cavity irons, while the MC models are Muscle-Cavity irons. Muscle-back irons (blades) offer maximum control and intense ball feel through compact heads but require precise contact. Cavity-back irons feature a cavity behind the face that moves weight to the edges for increased forgiveness, a lower center of gravity, and higher ball flight.

For wedges, Rose relies on traditional Titleist clubs, using either the Vokey Design SM10 with 52° or 56° loft or the Vokey Design WedgeWorks with a 60° loft.

His final club is a Scotty Cameron Phantom T-5 Tour Prototype putter from Carlsbad, California, which Rose has been testing since September 2025 but is not yet available commercially. The putter features 303 stainless steel
