WITB: Justin Rose’s Clubs at the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open

From driver to putter: we take a look inside Justin Rose’s bag and reveal the clubs that helped him secure a record win at Torrey Pines.

Even at 45 years old, Englishman Justin Rose dominated his competitors at Torrey Pines during the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open on the PGA Tour. With a seven-stroke lead and a tournament record of 23 under par, the South African-born player secured his first title of the season. A look into his bag shows that his club selection is as versatile as his game, which he impressively demonstrated in Southern California.

Justin Rose’s Choice of Driver: Callaway

Starting off from the tee, Justin Rose uses a Callaway driver with a 9° loft. The Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond Max is known as a high-performance club for experienced players seeking maximum control, a compact head shape, and low spin without sacrificing the forgiveness advantages of the “Max” design. It combines tour-proven performance with improved stability through the Ai Smart Face technology, which utilizes real player data to optimize the clubface and create multiple sweet spots across the surface, stabilizing spin and launch angle on off-center hits. At the Farmers Insurance Open, Rose achieved a maximum driving distance of 352 yards (approximately 322 meters) with this driver.

Fairway Woods for Every Shot

Complementing his driver is a TaylorMade 3-wood named M6 with a 15° loft, featuring Twist-Face technology for explosive shots from both the fairway and tee. An evolved Speed Pocket in the sole helps accelerate the ball even on low-face strikes, enhancing flexibility and trampoline effect to transfer more energy over a larger ball contact area. The result is higher, longer shots with less distance loss on off-center hits.

Also in Rose’s bag is a TaylorMade 7-wood with a 21° loft, ideal for mid-to-long approach shots, providing a high ball flight for a soft landing on the green and particularly useful for shots from the rough. Rose opts for the recently introduced QiD4 model, already popular among many professionals.

Irons Combining Control and Feel

Depending on course conditions, Rose uses a 4 or 5 utility iron from Japanese manufacturer Miura’s TC-502 series. For his regular irons (6-PW), he prefers Miura’s MC-502 irons. The difference between the series is that the TC models are tour cavity irons, whereas the MC models are muscle cavity irons. Muscle-back irons (blades) offer maximum control and intense ball feel due to their compact heads but demand precise striking. Cavity-back irons have a cavity behind the clubface that shifts weight to the edges, providing more forgiveness, a lower center of gravity, and higher ball flight.

For wedges, Rose relies on Titleist’s traditional craftsmanship, using either Vokey Design SM10 wedges with 52° or 56° loft or a Vokey Design WedgeWorks with 60° loft.

The final club in Rose’s bag comes from Carlsbad, California: a Scotty Cameron putter. The Scotty Cameron Phantom T-5 Tour Prototype is not yet commercially available and has been tested by Rose since
