The Jupiter Links Golf Club responded with their first hammer on the fifth hole, securing an important point. Los Angeles extended their lead with another point on the sixth hole. The phase ended after the ninth hole with Los Angeles leading 4:1, following a penalty stroke to New York in the final triples hole.
In the Singles phase, momentum swung rapidly in favor of Los Angeles. Justin Rose began the tenth hole (Par 5) with a strong 300-meter drive to the fairway. Max Homa followed with a solid, though shorter, shot that positioned New York decently to recover points.
Historic Moment: Justin Rose Sinks TGL’s First Albatross
Justin Rose made history on the tenth hole by hitting an albatross from 210 meters with a 4-iron, thrilling fans and leaving the New York team stunned. Even Tiger Woods smiled, noting he had never achieved an albatross in his career. This shot increased Los Angeles’s lead to 5:1.
