With a strong team effort and a historic moment by Justin Rose, the Los Angeles team triumphs over New York.
On Tuesday at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, the Tomorrow Golf League (TGL) saw the New York Jupiter Links Golf Club (featuring Max Homa, Kevin Kisner, and Akshay Bhatia) face off against the Los Angeles Golf Club (with Justin Rose, Collin Morikawa, and Sahith Theegala). The match was highlighted by the first-ever albatross in TGL history. It was only in the second phase of the match, the Singles, that Los Angeles secured a clear victory.
Triples Phase: Early Hammer Puts Los Angeles Ahead
During the second hole of the first phase, the Triples, Los Angeles threw the first hammer, winning two points early on. Jupiter Links responded with their first hammer on the fifth hole to gain a key point. However, Los Angeles extended their lead on the sixth hole, and after finishing the Triples with a bogey at the ninth hole, the score stood at 4:1 after Jupiter Links incurred a penalty stroke.
In the Singles phase, the momentum shifted decisively in favor of Los Angeles. Justin Rose opened the tenth hole (Par 5) with a commanding 300-meter drive. Max Homa from the opposing team played a solid but shorter tee shot, setting up a good position to recover points for New York.

Final Holes: Los Angeles Seals the Win
Saving a hammer for the late stage, Los Angeles deployed it on the penultimate hole, which New York accepted to stay in the game. Collin Morikawa secured a par to clinch that hole and effectively seal the win. New York couldn’t recover points on the final hole, with the match
