Similar to TGL, WTGL will feature some of the sport’s best stars, evidenced by the first wave of players who have committed to the league.

Clearly a standout is Jenny Thitikul, world number one, with five LPGA awards and seven LPGA wins to her name. She has led the world rankings since August 2025 and, at only 22 years old, is one of the game’s brightest talents.

Also joining next year is Charley Hull, currently ranked fifth worldwide, with three LPGA victories and a remarkable 15-9-3 record over seven Solheim Cups representing Team Europe.

LPGA Hall of Famer and former world number one Lydia Ko will also compete in the upcoming WTGL season. The 28-year-old boasts 23 LPGA wins including three majors, and three Olympic medals.

Canadian Brooke Henderson is the fourth player announced by TMRW Sports for the WTGL. She has won 14 LPGA tournaments, including two majors, and is Canada’s most accomplished female golfer.

The final player of the first WTGL group is American Lexi Thompson, who won the 2014 Kraft Nabisco Championship, becoming the second-youngest major winner in LPGA history at age 19.

\”WTGL Will Be a Global Stage\”

Mike McCarley, founder and CEO of TMRW Sports, expressed optimism about WTGL’s future: \”WTGL will be a global stage where LPGA stars can shine, and this initial wave of committed players represents that opportunity with some of the world’s best.\” He added, \”These players will excel in WTGL’s competitive environment, while fans enjoy unprecedented access to their skills and personalities through the league’s modern team match play format.\”
