Scotty Cameron introduces a new putter line designed to reduce torque and enhance roll consistency through shaft position.
Scotty Cameron, in collaboration with Titleist, has launched a new line of Onset Center (OC) putters from its design studio in Carlsbad, California. The new models, Phantom 11R OC and Studio Style Fastback OC, aim to deliver a more consistent roll by optimizing shaft position and minimizing face rotation during the stroke. The term ‘Onset Center’ refers to the shaft being positioned behind the leading edge and center of gravity of the putter head. According to Austie Rollinson, Senior Director of Putter R&D at Scotty Cameron, this design caters to golfers seeking to reduce face rotation through setup.
The development goal was to maintain the signature soft feel and feedback of Scotty Cameron putters while enhancing stability. A slightly stiffer shaft paired with a 15-gram head weight helps preserve feel while reducing torque. The OC design also features chain-link face milling, a one-degree shaft lean, and carefully selected shaft and grip combinations to support a traditional putting style with modern performance benefits.
Both models are low-torque putters, offering the lowest torque design in the current Scotty Cameron lineup. They are ideal for players who prefer a straighter putting stroke and minimal face rotation. Familiar head shapes and the classic Matador Mid grip make for an easy transition from other setups.
Scotty Cameron Phantom 11R OC
The Phantom 11R OC, also available for left-handed players, is based on the popular Phantom 11 platform. It features a stable, multi-material mallet design with rounded edges and full-face chain-link milling. This model is designed to be highly forgiving on the greens.

Scotty Cameron Studio Style Fastback OC
The Studio Style Fastback OC builds on the 2025 Fastback shape, constructed from 303 stainless steel and aerospace-grade aluminum. It features chain-link milling and a Studio Carbon Steel face insert for improved feel and roll. Like the Phantom 11R OC, it includes a single alignment line for precision.
