The TaylorMade Qi4D series features an advanced multi-material construction, combining different materials depending on the model. This variety allows finely tuned center of gravities, contributing to high playability and versatility. Qi4D Fairway Woods: Control, Versatility, and Customization
The Qi4D fairway woods have refined contact points that enable more consistent ball speeds across the entire face. An optimized center of gravity provides a balanced blend of distance, control, and versatility compared to the previous model.
All clubs incorporate technologies such as the improved Cut-Trough Speed Pocket, which stabilizes ball speed even on low-face hits and reduces spin. Additionally, the Twist Face curvature offers controlled ball flight on off-center strikes.
Each model features a 4° loft sleeve, allowing individual adjustment of loft, lie, and face angles. Integrated Trajectory Adjustment System (TAS) weights let players fine-tune spin and shot shape. The retail price is €399.
Tour and Max Variants for Different Needs
The Qi4D Tour fairway woods target players with specific ball flight preferences. A 65 g tungsten weight is positioned low and directly behind the titanium face to promote higher launch with reduced spin. Titanium soles and faces, along with a carbon crown, add discretionary weight. Three TAS weights allow precise ball flight control from stable neutral setups to draw or fade biases.
The Qi4D Max and Max Lite woods focus on forgiveness. Larger heads and shallower face profiles increase stability. Weight is shifted towards the perimeter and back of the head, supported by 8 g and 4 g TAS weights. The Lite version aims at players seeking maximum clubhead speed and carry distance using ultra-light components. These models are also priced at €399.
Qi4D Hybrids: Versatile Long-Iron Alternatives
The Qi4D hybrids adopt the multi-material concept of the fairway woods. Optimized center of gravity positions, proven technologies like Speed Pocket and Twist Face, and extensive adjustability deliver a balanced mix of distance, control, and forgiveness.
A progressive topline adapts to the model: Qi4D hybrids feature a slightly slimmer profile, while Max and Max Lite variants have a more robust look.
The Qi4D Rescue combines stainless steel and a carbon crown for defined distances with a steep launch angle. An 8 g TAS weight and 3° loft sleeve offer ample customization.
