TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Four Models for Speed and Versatility

TaylorMade launches the new Qi4D Driver with four models focused on maximum speed and adaptability.

TaylorMade introduces the Qi4D drivers, bringing fresh speed and versatility. Designed for maximum velocity, these new drivers impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustability. Four distinct models cover various playing and swing types.

New Faces and Aerodynamic Refinements

The Qi4D drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. They feature newly developed carbon faces that generate more efficient ball speed compared to titanium while providing enhanced durability and strength. Improved roll radii on the face reduce variations in spin rate regardless of whether the ball strikes higher or lower on the face.

An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed using finite element analysis (FEA), increases face flexibility in the lower area, expanding the high-performance zone and stabilizing ball speed across typical impact zones. This is complemented by a corrective face curvature and optimized aerodynamics, including finely tuned head shapes, smooth transitions, and discreet structures to ensure clean airflow throughout the swing.

TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Shaft and Adjustment Systems for Customization

A key feature of the Qi4D series is its high level of customization. All models come equipped with a 4° loft sleeve that allows adjustments to loft, lie angle, and face angle.

Additionally, specially developed REAX shafts are available, tailored to three swing profiles (Hold, Balance, and Active) and offered in various flex and weight classes. This enables players to fine-tune even standard shafts to their swing characteristics.

Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses

Qi4D: The base model features a four-weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Weight positioning influences ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw/fade tendencies. Heavier weights placed forward promote higher ball speed, while rear placement enhances stability.

Qi4D LS: Optimized for maximum speed and low spin, its head shape was aerodynamically refined through computational fluid dynamics to ensure smooth airflow and clean separation at the back. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise spin and trajectory control.

Qi4D Max: Focused on forgiveness without sacrificing speed. Aluminum reduces weight and offers extra adjustment possibilities. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) afford flexible center-of-gravity shifting between increased ball speed or enhanced stability.

Qi4D Max Lite: Incorporates Max model technology but emphasizes lightweight design. The lightest head, shaft, and grip in the series target players aiming to increase their clubhead speed precisely.

The Qi4D drivers can be pre-ordered from January 8, 2026, at a price of €699 and will be available in stores starting January 29.
