TaylorMade launches the new Qi4D Driver with four models focused on maximum speed and compatibility. Discover the details of this high-speed driver.
TaylorMade brings new momentum and speed with the Qi4D drivers. Designed for maximum velocity, these models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustment options. Four distinct models cover a range of playing and swing types.
Advanced Faces and Aerodynamic Refinement
The Qi4D Drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. They feature newly developed carbon faces, which generate more efficient ball speed compared to titanium while being more durable and robust. Improved roll radii on the face help reduce spin rate variance regardless of high or low strike positions.
An enhanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed with Finite Element Analysis (FEA), increases the flexibility of the lower face area. This creates an expanded high-performance zone that stabilizes ball speed in typical impact zones. Additionally, a corrective face curvature complements this. Aerodynamics are optimized with finely tuned head shapes, smooth transitions, and discreetly integrated structures that promote clean airflow through the entire swing.
TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Customization with Shafts and Adjustment Systems
A key feature of the Qi4D series is extensive customization. All models come with a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustment of loft, lie angle, and face angle.
Specially developed REAX shafts are also used, designed for three different swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) and available in various flex and weight categories. This allows standard shafts to be precisely matched to different player types.
Model Overview: Four Drivers with Different Focuses
Qi4D
The base model uses a quad-weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Depending on weight placement, ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade tendencies can be influenced. Heavier weights positioned forward promote higher ball speed, while rear placement enhances stability.
Qi4D LS
The Qi4D LS targets maximum speed and notably low spin. Aerodynamic optimization of the head shape, guided by numerical flow simulations, ensures smooth airflow and clean separation at the club’s rear. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) enable precise spin and trajectory adjustments.
Qi4D Max
This model prioritizes forgiveness without sacrificing speed. Aluminum construction reduces weight and adds adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) allow flexible center of gravity shifts between enhanced ball speed or added stability.
Qi4D Max Lite
The Max Lite adopts the Max model’s technologies but is designed to be consistently lightweight. The head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, aiming at golfers who want to specifically increase their clubhead speed.
The Qi4D drivers are available for preorder starting January 8, 2026, at a price of €699 and will be available in stores from
