TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Four Models for Versatility and Speed

TaylorMade launches the new Qi4D driver series with four models focused on maximum speed and compatibility for various swing types.

TaylorMade brings new momentum and speed with the Qi4D drivers. Designed for maximum velocity, the new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustability. Four different models cover various player and swing styles.

New Clubfaces and Aerodynamic Refinements

The Qi4D drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. Featuring newly developed carbon clubfaces, which provide more efficient ball speed compared to titanium while being more durable and robust. Enhanced roll radii on the face help reduce spin rate deviations regardless of where the ball strikes the face vertically.

An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), increases face flexibility in the lower area, expanding the high-performance zone and stabilizing ball speed in typical impact areas. This is complemented by a corrective face curvature. Simultaneously, the head aerodynamics are maximized with finely tuned shapes, smooth transitions, and discreet integrated structures that support clean airflow throughout the swing.

TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Customization through Shafts and Adjustment Systems

A key feature of the Qi4D series is high customization. All models include a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustments to loft, lie angle, and face angle.

Additionally, specially developed REAX shafts tailored to three distinct swing characteristics—Hold, Balance, and Active—are available in various flex and weight classes, enabling precise shaft tuning for different player types.

Model Overview: Four Drivers with Different Focus

Qi4D

The base model uses a four-weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Positioning affects ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade tendencies. Heavier weights forward promote higher ball speeds, while rear placement enhances stability.

Qi4D LS

The Qi4D LS prioritizes maximum speed and very low spin. Aerodynamically optimized using computational fluid dynamics to ensure smooth airflow and clean separation at the clubhead’s trailing edge. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise adjustment of spin and trajectory.

Qi4D Max

The Qi4D Max emphasizes forgiveness without sacrificing speed. Aluminum components reduce weight, offering more adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) enable flexible center-of-gravity shifts between enhanced speed or stability.

Qi4D Max Lite

The Qi4D Max Lite incorporates Max model technology but features a lightweight design. Head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, ideal for players aiming to increase clubhead speed.

The Qi4D drivers are available for pre-order starting January 8, 2026, at €699 and will be available in stores from January 29.
