TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Four Models for Speed and Versatility

TaylorMade presents the new Qi4D Driver lineup with four models focused on maximum speed and compatibility. The new driver designed for greater speed in detail.

TaylorMade brings new momentum and speed with the Qi4D Drivers. Designed for maximum velocity, the new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustability. Four different models cater to various playing and swing types.

New Faces and Aerodynamic Refinements

The Qi4D Drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. They feature newly developed carbon faces that generate more efficient ball speed compared to titanium, while also offering greater durability and longevity. Improved face roll radii help reduce spin rate deviations, regardless of whether the ball is struck higher or lower on the face.

An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), increases the flexibility of the lower face area. This creates an extended high-performance zone that stabilizes ball speed in typical impact areas. Additionally, a corrective face curvature supports consistent contact. Aerodynamics of the heads have been precisely maximized with finely tuned shapes, smooth transitions, and subtly integrated structures to maintain clean airflow throughout the entire swing.

TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Customization Through Shafts and Adjustment Systems

A key feature of the Qi4D series is its high level of customization. All models are equipped with a 4° loft sleeve that allows adjustment of loft, lie, and face angle.

Additionally, specially developed REAX shafts are available, designed for three different swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) and offered in various flex and weight classes. This allows standard shafts to be precisely tailored to different player types.

Model Overview: Four Drivers with Unique Focuses

Qi4D

The base model uses a quad-weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Placement of these weights can influence ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade tendencies. Heavier weights positioned forward promote higher ball speeds, while rear placement increases stability.

Qi4D LS

The Qi4D LS focuses on maximum speed and particularly low spin. The head shape was aerodynamically optimized through numerical flow simulations to ensure smooth airflow and a clean break-off at the clubhead’s trailing edge. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise adjustments of spin and trajectory.

Qi4D Max

The Qi4D Max emphasizes forgiveness without compromising speed. Aluminum is used to reduce weight and provide additional adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) enable flexible center of gravity positioning for more speed or enhanced stability.

Qi4D Max Lite

The Qi4D Max Lite incorporates Max model technologies with a focus on being lightweight. The head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, targeting golfers looking to increase clubhead speed deliberately.
