TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Four Models for Speed and Versatility

TaylorMade introduces the new Qi4D Driver with four models focusing on maximum speed and adaptability.

TaylorMade brings fresh momentum and speed with the Qi4D drivers. Designed for maximum velocity, these new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive customization options. Four distinct models cater to different play and swing types.

New Faces and Aerodynamic Refinements

The Qi4D drivers represent TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers yet. They feature newly developed carbon faces that generate greater ball speed compared to titanium while being more durable and robust. Improved roll radii on the face help reduce spin rate deviations, regardless of whether the ball is struck higher or lower on the face.

An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed through finite element analysis (FEA), increases flexibility in the lower face area, creating an extended high-performance zone that stabilizes ball speed in typical impact zones. This is complemented by a corrective face curvature. Additionally, the head’s aerodynamics have been precisely maximized with finely tuned head shapes, smooth transitions, and subtly integrated structures supporting clean airflow throughout the swing.

TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Customization with Shafts and Adjustment Systems

A key feature of the Qi4D series is the high degree of personalization. All models include a 4° loft sleeve that allows adjustments to loft, lie angle, and face angle.

Furthermore, specially developed REAX shafts are used, tailored for three different swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) and available in various flex and weight classes. This enables targeted shaft tuning for different player types beyond standard shafts.

Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses

Qi4D

The base model features a four-weight TAS adjustable system (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Depending on positioning, ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade tendencies can be influenced. Heavier weights at the front promote higher ball speeds, while rear placement enhances stability.

Qi4D LS

Designed for maximum speed and particularly low spin, the Qi4D LS’s head shape was aerodynamically optimized using computational fluid dynamics to ensure smooth airflow and clean separation at the club’s back. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise adjustments to spin and ball flight.

Qi4D Max

Prioritizing forgiveness without speed loss, the Qi4D Max uses aluminum to reduce weight and create additional adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) enable flexible center of gravity shifts between increased ball speed and enhanced stability.

Qi4D Max Lite

The Qi4D Max Lite inherits technologies from the Max model but is engineered with a consistently lightweight design. Head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, targeting golfers seeking to boost their clubhead speed.

The Qi4D drivers are available for pre-order starting January 8, 2026, at a price of 699 € and will be available at specialist
