TaylorMade introduces the new Qi4D Driver lineup featuring four models focused on maximum speed and customization.
TaylorMade brings new energy and speed with the Qi4D drivers. Designed for maximum velocity, the new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustability. Four different models cater to various playing and swing types.
New Faces and Aerodynamic Refinements
The Qi4D drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. They feature newly developed carbon faces that produce more efficient ball speed compared to titanium while also being more durable and long-lasting. Improved roll radii on the face help reduce spin rate deviations regardless of where the ball strikes higher or lower on the face.
An enhanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed using finite element analysis (FEA), increases flexibility at the lower face region, creating an expanded high-performance area that stabilizes ball speed in typical strike zones. This is complemented by a corrective face curvature. Simultaneously, the head aerodynamics have been specifically maximized. Smooth head shapes, soft transitions, and discreetly integrated structures support clean airflow throughout the swing.
TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Personalized Adjustment via Shafts and Settings
A key feature of the Qi4D series is the high level of customization. All models come equipped with a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustments to loft, lie angle, and face angle.
Additionally, specially developed REAX shafts are used, catering to three different swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) and available in various flex and weight classes. This also allows standard shafts to be tailored precisely to different player types.
Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses
Qi4D: The base model utilizes a quadruple weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Positioning these weights influences ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade tendencies. Heavier weights placed at the front promote higher ball speeds, while rear placement enhances stability.
Qi4D LS: Designed for maximum speed and particularly low spin. Numerical flow simulations optimized the head shape aerodynamically to ensure smooth airflow and clean separation at the club’s trailing edge. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise adjustment of spin and ball flight.
Qi4D Max: Focused on forgiveness without sacrificing speed. The use of aluminum reduces weight and provides additional adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) enable flexible center of gravity shifts between more ball speed or increased stability.
Qi4D Max Lite: Adopts the technologies of the Max model but with a consistently lightweight design. The head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, targeting golfers looking to boost their clubhead speed specifically.
The Qi4D drivers can be pre-ordered from January 8, 2026, at a price of €699 and will be available at authorized retailers from January 29.
