TaylorMade launches the new Qi4D Driver with four models focused on maximum speed and versatility. The new driver delivers increased velocity in detail.
TaylorMade brings fresh momentum and speed with the Qi4D drivers. Designed for maximum velocity, the new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustability, covering a range of swing and play styles across four distinct models.
New Faces and Aerodynamic Refinements
The Qi4D drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. They feature newly developed carbon faces that generate higher ball speeds compared to titanium, while also being more durable and robust. Improved face roll radii help reduce spin rate variance regardless of where the ball strikes on the face.
An evolved Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed with finite element analysis (FEA), increases flexibility in the lower face area, expanding the high-performance zone to stabilize ball speeds within typical strike zones. This is complemented by corrective face curvature. Additionally, the driver heads’ aerodynamics have been optimized with precisely tuned shapes, smooth transitions, and discreet integrated structures that promote clean airflow throughout the swing.
Qi4D Drivers: Customization through Shafts and Adjustment Systems
A key feature of the Qi4D series is its high degree of customization. All models come with a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustments to loft, lie angle, and face angle.
Specially developed REAX shafts are also used, catering to three distinct swing characteristics—Hold, Balance, and Active—and are available in various flex and weight options. This enables targeted tuning of standard shafts for different player types.
Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses
Qi4D
The base model uses a four-weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2) allowing players to influence ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade bias. Heavier weights forward promote faster ball speeds, while rear placement improves stability.
Qi4D LS
Designed for maximum speed and low spin, the Qi4D LS features an aerodynamically optimized head shape developed via computational fluid dynamics for smooth airflow and clean separation at the back of the clubhead. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise spin and trajectory adjustments.
Qi4D Max
Prioritizing forgiveness without sacrificing speed, the Max model uses aluminum to reduce weight and offers additional tuning options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) enable flexible center of gravity shifts between increased ball speed or enhanced stability.
Qi4D Max Lite
This model adopts the Max technology but emphasizes lightness throughout the head, shaft, and grip to help golfers increase clubhead speed effectively.
The Qi4D drivers are available for pre-order from January 8, 2026, priced at €699 and will be available at authorized dealers from January 29.
