Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design blend classic looks with modern face technology. The Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist presents three new putter models in its Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design complete the lineup of putters, complementing Scotty Cameron’s series of blades and mid-mallets. Each putter is configured to suit different toe-flow profiles and putting strokes.
Classic Design Meets Modern Technology
The Studio-Style line combines classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions. The focus is on evolving familiar designs, enhanced by technical adjustments aimed at controlled impact feel and consistent ball speeds. A key feature is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a Chain-Link milling pattern, which influences sound and vibration on impact without altering feedback or ball launch consistency.
Introducing the Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design
The Santa Fe features a head shape inspired by the classic Newport design with a curved neck that promotes pronounced toe flow, ideal for players with an arc-style putting stroke and enhanced face angle feel throughout the stroke. The compact mid-mallet Fastback 2 utilizes a plumbing-neck shaft encouraging a moderate toe flow and an inside-to-inside putting path. Its milled steel body integrates a black anodized aluminum insert to increase perimeter weighting and aid alignment, also available for left-handed players. The Fastback 2 Long Design offers a longer, heavier version with tungsten sole weights, a 38-inch length, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft, catering to players seeking a steadier, more consistent stroke; it is also offered in a left-handed variant.
Face Technology Focused on Feedback and Control
All Studio-Style putters incorporate the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with Chain-Link milling. Carbon steel was selected over alternative materials for its ability to reduce vibration duration at impact, producing a short, controlled sound. It also supports consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert, enhancing durability. The milling pattern reduces ball-to-face contact points, further dampening sound.
The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 are available in 33, 34, and 35-inch standard lengths priced at €529 MSRP. The Fastback 2 Long Design is offered exclusively at 38 inches for €599 MSRP. These new putters have been available in golf retailers since February 12.
