Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design combine classic shapes with modern face technology.
Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist, Scotty Cameron, introduces three new putter models in its Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design complete the lineup of blades and mid-mallets, each designed to cater to different toe-flow profiles and putting strokes.
The Studio-Style line merges classic blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions, focusing on refined designs enhanced by technical adjustments aimed at controlled feel and consistent ball speed. Central to these putters is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a chain-link milling pattern, influencing sound and vibration at impact without affecting feedback or ball launch consistency.
Scotty Cameron Studio-Style Putter Models
The Santa Fe model revives a decades-old design inspired by the Newport head shape, featuring a curved hosel that promotes pronounced toe flow for players with strong arced putting strokes, enhancing alignment feel throughout the stroke. This classic look is paired with modern manufacturing techniques and current face technology.
The Fastback 2, a compact mid-mallet derived from the previous Studio-Style Fastback, includes a plumbing-neck hosel supporting moderate toe flow for a slight inside-to-inside putt path. Its milled steel head is complemented by a black anodized aluminum insert between toe and heel, raising perimeter weighting and serving as an alignment aid. A left-handed version is also available.
The Fastback 2 Long Design offers a longer, heavier iteration of the Fastback 2 with the same head shape and hosel but added stability. At 38 inches long, it includes tungsten sole weights for increased head mass, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft tailored for a steadier, smoother stroke, also offered in a left-handed option.
Face Technology and Design Focused on Feel and Control
All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face with chain-link milling, chosen over other materials to reduce vibration duration at impact and deliver a short, controlled sound. This material also supports uniform ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert and enhances durability. The milling pattern reduces contact points between ball and face, further dampening sound.
The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 are available in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, retailing at €529. The Fastback 2 Long Design is sold exclusively in 38 inches for €599. These new Studio-Style putters have been available at golf retailers since February 12.
