Scotty Cameron expands Studio-Style putter line with three new models

Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design combine classic design with modern face technology. The Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist unveils three new putter models within their Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design putters complete Scotty Cameron’s range, extending their series of blades and mid-mallets. Each putter is configured for different toe-flow profiles and putting strokes.

Blending Classic Design with Cutting-Edge Face Technology

The Studio-Style line merges classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions. Focused on evolving familiar designs, these putters incorporate technical adjustments aimed at controlled feel and consistent ball speeds. Central to the design is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert combined with a distinctive Chain-Link milling pattern. This construction influences the sound and vibration at impact without altering feedback or ball launch consistency.

Three Distinct Models: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design

The Santa Fe features a head shape inspired by the Newport, with a curved shaft creating pronounced toe flow that benefits players with an arcing putting stroke by enhancing face angle perception throughout the stroke. Modern manufacturing and current face technology complement its classic look.

The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the earlier Studio-Style Fastback, with a plumbing-neck shaft promoting a moderate toe flow and a slightly inside-to-inside stroke path. Its milled steel head features a black anodized aluminum inlay between toe and heel, increasing perimeter weighting and serving as an alignment aid. This model is available for left-handed players as well.

The Fastback 2 Long Design is a longer, heavier version of the Fastback 2, incorporating additional stability. With a 38-inch length, tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft, it targets players seeking a steadier and more consistent stroke. This variant is also offered in a left-handed version.

Face Technology Focuses on Feedback and Control

All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with Chain-Link milling. Carbon steel was preferred in internal tests for its ability to reduce vibration duration at impact, producing a short, controlled sound while supporting consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert and enhances durability. The milling pattern also reduces contact points between the ball and face, further dampening sound.

The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 come in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, retailing at €529. The Fastback 2 Long Design is offered exclusively in 38 inches at €599. These new Studio-Style putters have been available in golf retailers since February 12.
