Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design blend classic style with modern face technology.
The Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist has introduced three new putters in their Studio-Style line. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design models complete the putter family, further complementing Scotty Cameron’s series of blades and mid-mallets. These putters are designed to accommodate different toe-flow profiles and putting strokes.
The Studio-Style line merges classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions. Central to this evolution is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert combined with a distinctive chain-link milling pattern. This design influences the sound and vibration at impact without altering feedback or ball launch consistency.
Scotty Cameron Santa Fe
The Santa Fe model revives a design inspired by the legendary Newport shape. Its curved hosel encourages pronounced toe flow, benefiting players with a notably arced putting stroke by enhancing face angle perception throughout the stroke. The traditional look is updated with modern manufacturing and the latest face technologies.
Scotty Cameron Fastback 2 and Fastback 2 Long Design
The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the existing Studio-Style Fastback. It features a plumbing-neck hosel promoting moderate toe flow for a slightly inside-to-inside putting stroke. The putter head is crafted from a milled steel body with a black anodized aluminum insert between toe and heel, enhancing perimeter weighting and serving as an alignment aid. A left-handed version is available.
The Fastback 2 Long Design offers a longer, heavier version of the Fastback 2. It retains the same head shape and hosel but is engineered for additional stability. Measuring 38 inches with tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft, this model targets players seeking a steadier, more consistent putting stroke. It is also offered in a left-handed version.
Face and Design: Focus on Feedback and Control
All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a chain-link milling pattern. Carbon steel was selected after internal tests for its reduced impact vibration duration, delivering a short, controlled sound and promoting consistent ball speed. The inserts are nickel-coated for durability, and the face’s milling pattern
