Scotty Cameron Expands Studio-Style Putter Series with Three New Models

Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design combine classic design with modern face technology.

Titleist’s Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary has introduced three new putter models in its Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design putters complete the lineup and expand Scotty Cameron’s series of blades and mid-mallets, catering to different toe-flow profiles and putting strokes.

The Studio-Style line merges classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions, focusing on evolved designs enhanced through technical adjustments aimed at controlled feel and consistent ball speeds. A key feature is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert combined with a chain-link milling pattern, influencing sound and vibration at impact without altering feedback or ball start consistency.

Scotty Cameron Studio-Style Putters: Classic Design Meets Modern Technology

The Santa Fe model draws from a decades-old design inspired by the Newport shape with a curved hosel that promotes pronounced toe flow, ideal for players with an arc-style putting stroke. This classic appearance is enhanced by modern manufacturing techniques and the latest face technology.

The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the previous Studio-Style Fastback. Its plumbing-neck hosel offers moderate toe flow, supporting an in-to-in putting stroke. The putter head features a milled steel body complemented by a black anodized aluminum inlay between toe and heel, increasing perimeter weighting and serving as an alignment aid. It is also available for left-handed players.

The Fastback 2 Long Design is a longer, heavier variant of the Fastback 2 with the same head shape and hosel but designed for added stability. Measuring 38 inches in length and equipped with tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft, it targets players seeking a smoother, more consistent stroke. A left-handed version is available as well.

Face Insert and Design: Focus on Feedback and Control

All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a chain-link milling pattern. Carbon steel was preferred over other materials due to its ability to reduce vibration duration at impact, producing a short, controlled sound while supporting consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert and enhances durability. The milling pattern also minimizes contact points between ball and face to further dampen the sound.

The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 models are available in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, priced at €529 MSRP. The Fastback 2 Long Design is offered only in 38 inches and costs €599 MSRP. These new Studio-Style putters have been available in golf retailers since February 12.
