Scotty Cameron Expands Studio-Style Series with Three New Putters

Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design combine classic looks with modern face technology.

The Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist introduces three new putter models in their Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design complete the lineup of Scotty Cameron putters, complementing their series of blades and mid-mallets. These putters are configured for different toe-flow profiles and putting strokes.

The Studio-Style line merges classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions. The focus lies on the evolution of familiar designs, enhanced by technical adjustments aimed at delivering controlled feel and consistent ball speed. A key feature is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert combined with a chain-link milling pattern. This construction influences sound and vibrations at impact without affecting feedback or consistency in ball launch.

Scotty Cameron Studio-Style Putters Overview

The Santa Fe model revisits a decades-old design, its head shape inspired by the Newport. The curved neck creates pronounced toe flow, ideal for players with a strongly arced putting stroke and aiding face angle awareness throughout the stroke. Classic appearance is enhanced by modern manufacturing and current face technology.

The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the previous Studio-Style Fastback. Its plumbing-neck shaft provides moderate toe flow favoring a slightly inside-to-inside putting arc. The putter head features a milled steel body complemented by a black anodized aluminum inlay between toe and heel. This multi-material design boosts perimeter weighting and serves as an alignment aid. A left-handed version is also available.

The Fastback 2 Long Design offers a longer and heavier version with the same head shape and neck but with enhanced stability. At 38 inches long, increased head weight via tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft, it targets players seeking a steadier, more consistent stroke. This model also comes in a left-handed option.

Face Technology and Design Focused on Feedback and Control

All Studio-Style putters incorporate the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with chain-link milling. Internal tests favored carbon steel over other materials due to its reduced vibration duration at impact, producing a short, controlled sound. The material also supports consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert and enhances durability. The face’s milling pattern reduces contact points between ball and face, further dampening sound.

The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 are available in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, priced at 529.00€ MSRP. The Fastback 2 Long Design is exclusively 38 inches and costs 599.00€ MSRP. These new Studio-Style putters have been available in golf shops since February 12.
