Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design blend classic looks with modern face technology.
The Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist presents three new putter models in their Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design putters are designed to complement the existing line of blades and mid-mallets, catering to different toe-flow profiles and putting strokes.
The Studio-Style line combines Scotty Cameron’s classic blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions. The focus lies on evolving familiar designs with technical enhancements aimed at controlled feel and consistent ball speeds. A key feature is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a chain-link milling pattern, which influences sound and vibration on impact without affecting feedback or consistency of ball roll.
New Scotty Cameron Studio-Style Putter Models
The Santa Fe revisits a decades-old design inspired by the Newport shape. Its curved hosel promotes pronounced toe flow, benefiting players with an arcing putting stroke and enhancing face angle awareness throughout the stroke. The classic look is enhanced with modern manufacturing and current face technology.
The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the previous Studio-Style Fastback. Featuring a plumbing-neck hosel for moderate toe flow and a slightly inside-to-inside putting arc, its milled steel head is combined with a black anodized aluminum inlay, increasing perimeter weighting and providing an aiming aid. It is available in a left-handed version.
The Fastback 2 Long Design offers a longer, heavier version of the Fastback 2 with the same head shape and hosel but designed for extra stability. At 38 inches long, it has added tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft, targeting players seeking a smoother, more consistent putting stroke. A left-handed option is also available.
Face Design and Technology Focus on Feedback and Control
All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a chain-link milling pattern. Carbon steel was chosen after internal testing for its ability to reduce vibration duration at impact, resulting in a short, controlled sound. It also supports consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert, enhancing durability. The milling pattern reduces contact points between ball and face to further dampen sound.
The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 models come in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, priced at €529 MSRP. The Fastback 2 Long Design is available exclusively in 38 inches at €599 MSRP. These new Studio-Style putters have been available in golf retail since February 12.
