Scotty Cameron Expands Studio-Style Putter Series with 3 New Models

Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design blend classic looks with modern face technology.

The Carlsbad, California based subsidiary of Titleist unveils three new putter models in its Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2 and Fastback 2 Long Design putters complete the line-up, complementing Scotty Cameron’s range of blades and mid-mallets. The putters are designed to accommodate different toe-flow profiles and putting strokes.

The Studio-Style line merges classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions. The focus lies on an evolution of familiar designs enhanced with technical adjustments aimed at controlled feel and consistent ball speed. A central feature is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert combined with a Chain-Link milling pattern. This construction influences the sound and vibration on impact without altering feedback or consistency in ball roll.

Scotty Cameron Santa Fe

The Santa Fe revisits a design known for decades, inspired by the Newport’s head shape. Its curved hosel generates a pronounced toe flow, ideal for players with a pronounced arc stroke, enhancing the perception of face angle throughout the stroke. The traditional look is updated with modern manufacturing methods and current face technology.

Scotty Cameron Fastback 2 and Long Design

The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the previous Studio-Style Fastback. Its plumbing neck hosel encourages moderate toe flow, promoting a slight inside-to-inside stroke path. The putter head comprises a milled steel body with a black anodized aluminum insert between the toe and heel, increasing perimeter weighting and serving as an alignment aid. This model is also available for left-handed players.

The Fastback 2 Long Design is a longer, heavier version of the Fastback 2, retaining the same head shape and hosel but enhanced for added stability. Measuring 38 inches with increased head weight thanks to tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft, this variant targets players seeking a steadier, smoother stroke. Left-handed versions are offered as well.

Face and Design: Focus on Feedback and Control

All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with Chain-Link milling. After internal tests, carbon steel was preferred over other materials for its ability to shorten vibration duration at impact, producing a short, controlled sound while supporting consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert, enhancing durability. The specialized milling reduces ball-to-face contact points further dampening sound.

The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 come in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, priced at €529 MSRP. The Fastback 2 Long Design is available only in 38 inches, priced at €599 MSRP. These new Studio-Style series putters have been available in golf retail since February 12.
