Scotty Cameron Expands Studio-Style Putter Line with Three New Models

Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design combine classic looks with modern face technology.

The Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist unveils three new putter models in its Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design putters complete the lineup, complementing Scotty Cameron’s established series of blades and mid-mallets. These putters are designed with varying toe-flow profiles to suit different putting strokes.

The Studio-Style line merges classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions, focusing on refined designs enhanced by technical adjustments aimed at controlled feel and consistent ball speeds. Central to the design is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert combined with a unique chain-link milling pattern, which affects sound and vibration upon impact without altering feedback or launch consistency.

Introducing the Scotty Cameron Santa Fe and Fastback 2 Models

The Santa Fe model draws on a decades-old design resembling the Newport head shape. Its curved neck creates pronounced toe flow, ideal for players with a strong arcing putting stroke, aiding in better face awareness throughout the stroke. Classic aesthetics are enhanced by modern manufacturing and current face technology.

The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the previous Studio-Style Fastback, featuring a plumbing-neck that promotes moderate toe flow for a slight inside-to-inside stroke. Its head is crafted from machined steel with a black anodized aluminum insert between toe and heel to increase perimeter weighting and serve as an alignment aid. A left-handed version is available.

Fastback 2 Long Design and Advanced Face Technology

The Fastback 2 Long Design offers a longer, heavier version of the Fastback 2. Its head shape and neck replicate the standard model but are engineered for added stability. Measuring 38 inches, it incorporates tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft for players seeking a smoother, more consistent putting stroke. Left-handed options are also offered.

All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face with chain-link milling. Carbon steel was favored over other materials in internal testing for its reduced vibration duration upon impact, producing a brief, controlled sound while promoting consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert, enhancing durability. The milling pattern also reduces contact points between ball and face, further dampening sound.

The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 models come in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, priced at €529 MSRP, while the Fastback 2 Long Design is exclusively 38 inches at €599 MSRP. These new Studio-Style putters have been available in golf shops since February 12.
