Scotty Cameron expands Studio-Style line with three new putters

Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design combine classic style with modern face technology.

The Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist launches three new putter models in their Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design complete the putter lineup, strengthening Scotty Cameron’s range of blades and mid-mallets. These putters are configured for various toe flow profiles and putting strokes.

The Studio-Style line merges classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet designs, focusing on evolved familiar designs enhanced with technological adjustments to deliver controlled feel and consistent ball speed. Central to these is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert featuring the Chain-Link milling pattern. This construction influences sound and vibration at impact without affecting feedback or ball roll consistency.

Scotty Cameron Santa Fe

The Santa Fe model revives a decades-old design inspired by the Newport shape. Its curved hosel creates pronounced toe flow, ideal for golfers with a pronounced arcing stroke, aiding face angle awareness throughout the stroke. Classic looks meet modern manufacturing and the latest face technology.

Scotty Cameron Fastback 2

The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the previous Fastback Studio-Style design. Its plumbing neck hosel induces moderate toe flow for a slight inside-to-inside stroke path. The putterhead combines a milled steel body with a black anodized aluminum insert between the toe and heel, increasing perimeter weighting and serving as an alignment aid. This model is available for left-handed players as well.

Scotty Cameron Fastback 2 Long Design

The Fastback 2 Long Design is a longer, heavier variation of the Fastback 2, maintaining head shape and hosel but designed for extra stability. With a 38-inch length, enhanced tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and stiffer shaft, it targets those seeking a smoother, more consistent putting stroke. A left-handed version is also offered.

Face and Design: Focus on Feedback and Control

All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with the Chain-Link milling pattern. Carbon steel was preferred over other materials after internal testing for its reduced vibration duration at impact, producing a short, controlled sound, and supporting consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert and enhances durability. The special milling pattern reduces contact points between ball and face, further dampening sound.

The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 are available in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, retailing at €529. The Fastback 2 Long Design comes only in 38 inches, priced at €599. These Studio-Style putters have been available since February 12 in golf retailers.
