Scotty Cameron Expands Studio-Style Putter Line with Three New Models

Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design combine classic looks with modern face technology.

The Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist introduces three new putter models in their Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design putters aim to complete the putter lineup and consistently complement Scotty Cameron’s series of blades and mid-mallets. Each putter is configured for different toe-flow profiles and putting stroke types.

The Studio-Style line merges classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions. The focus is on evolving familiar designs enhanced by technical modifications targeting controlled feel and consistent ball speeds. A key element is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert featuring a chain-link milling pattern, influencing sound and vibration at impact without affecting feedback or consistency at ball launch.

Scotty Cameron Studio-Style Putters: Classic Design Meets Modern Technology

Scotty Cameron Santa Fe

Within the Studio-Style family, three models have been introduced. The Santa Fe revives a decades-old design inspired by the Newport shape. Its bent neck produces a pronounced toe flow, helping players with an arc-shaped putting stroke and enhancing face angle awareness throughout the stroke. The classic look is combined with modern manufacturing techniques and current face technology.

Scotty Cameron Fastback 2

The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the previous Studio-Style Fastback. It features a plumbing-neck hosel designed for moderate toe flow, which encourages a slightly inside-to-inside putting stroke. The putter head is milled steel with a black anodized aluminum insert between the toe and heel, which increases perimeter weighting and serves as an alignment aid. This model is also available for left-handed players.

Scotty Cameron Fastback 2 Long Design

The Fastback 2 Long Design is a longer, heavier version of the Fastback 2, keeping the same head shape and hosel but engineered for added stability. Measuring 38 inches in length, it includes tungsten sole weights for extra head mass, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft, targeting players seeking a smoother, more consistent putting stroke. A left-handed version is available for this model as well.

Face Technology Focused on Feedback and Control

All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with chain-link milling. Carbon steel was favored in internal tests over other materials due to its reduced vibration duration at impact, producing a short, controlled sound while supporting consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert and enhances durability. The milling pattern reduces ball contact points, further softening the sound.

The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 models come in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches retailing at €529 MSRP. The Fastback 2 Long Design is offered only in 38 inches at €599 MSRP. These new Studio-Style putters have been available in golf shops since February 12.
