Scotty Cameron Expands Studio-Style Line with Three New Putters

Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Long Design, blending classic looks with modern face technology.

The Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist has introduced three new putter models in their Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design putters complete the lineup and consistently complement Scotty Cameron’s line of blades and mid-mallets. These putters are designed with different toe flow profiles and putting strokes in mind.

The Studio-Style line combines classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions. Central to the design is an evolution of familiar shapes enhanced by technical adjustments aimed at delivering controlled feel and consistent ball speeds. A key feature is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with its unique chain-link milling pattern, which influences sound and vibration at impact without compromising feedback or consistency of ball launch.

Scotty Cameron Studio-Style Putters: Design and Technology

Within the Studio-Style family, three models were introduced. The Santa Fe draws on a decades-old design, with a head shape inspired by the Newport. Its curved hosel produces pronounced toe flow, catering especially to players with a strongly arcing putting stroke and supports awareness of face angle throughout the stroke. Classic looks are fused with modern manufacturing and face technology.

The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the previous Studio-Style Fastback. Its plumbing-neck hosel provides moderate toe flow encouraging a slight inside-to-inside putt path. The putter head features a milled steel body augmented by a black anodized aluminum inlay between the toe and heel. This multi-material construction increases perimeter weighting and serves as an alignment aid. A left-handed version is also available.

The Fastback 2 Long Design is a longer and heavier version of the Fastback 2. While keeping the same head shape and hosel as the standard model, it is engineered for additional stability. Measuring 38 inches in length, it incorporates tungsten sole weights for extra head weight, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft. This variant targets players seeking a smoother, more consistent stroke and is offered for left-handed players as well.

Face Insert and Design: Focus on Feedback and Control

All Studio-Style putters use the Studio Carbon Steel face insert featuring a chain-link milling pattern. After internal testing, carbon steel was chosen over other materials for its ability to shorten impact vibration and produce a crisp, controlled sound. The material also promotes consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert and enhances durability. The milling pattern reduces contact points between ball and face to further dampen sound.

The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 are available in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches at a retail price of €529. The Fastback 2 Long Design comes only in 38 inches and costs €599. The new Studio-Style putters have been available in golf retailers since February 12.
