Scotty Cameron Expands Studio-Style Line with Three New Putters

Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design combine classic looks with modern face technology.Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist introduces three new models in their Studio-Style family to complete the lineup of blades and mid-mallets, designed for different toe-flow profiles and putting strokes. The Studio-Style line blends classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions, focusing on evolved designs and technical adjustments aimed at controlled feel and consistent ball speeds. Central is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a chain-link milling texture that influences sound and vibration without affecting feedback or ball roll consistency.

New Models: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design

The Santa Fe model takes inspiration from the decades-old Newport shape, featuring a curved neck that creates pronounced toe flow, ideal for arcing putting strokes and enhancing face angle awareness throughout the stroke. It combines classic design with modern manufacturing and face technology.

The Fastback 2, a compact mid-mallet based on the prior Studio-Style Fastback, has a plumbing-neck shaft promoting moderate toe flow for a slightly inside-to-inside stroke. Its milled steel head features a black anodized aluminum insert between toe and heel to increase perimeter weighting and serve as an alignment aid. It is available for left-handed players as well.

The Fastback 2 Long Design is a longer, heavier variant of the Fastback 2 with the same head and neck design but engineered for extra stability. At 38 inches, it includes tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft, targeting players who favor a smoother and steadier stroke. A left-handed version is also offered.

Face Technology and Design: Focus on Feedback and Control

All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with chain-link milling. Internal tests favored carbon steel over other materials for reducing vibration duration at impact, producing a short, controlled sound while supporting consistent ball speeds. A nickel coating protects the insert, enhancing durability. The milling pattern reduces contact points between ball and face, further dampening sound.

The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 are offered in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, priced at €529 MSRP. The Fastback 2 Long Design is exclusively 38 inches and costs €599 MSRP. These new Studio-Style putters have been available in golf retail since February 12.
