Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design combine classic design with modern face technology.
The Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist has unveiled three new models in its Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design putters are designed to complement the existing blade and mid-mallet series, offering configurations tailored to various toe-flow profiles and putting strokes.
The Studio-Style line blends Scotty Cameron’s classic blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions. Central to these designs is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a Chain-Link milling pattern which enhances feedback and vibration at impact without compromising consistency or ball rollout.
Scotty Cameron Studio-Style: Classic Meets Innovation
The Santa Fe model draws inspiration from the iconic Newport blade, featuring a curved neck that promotes a strong toe flow ideal for players with a pronounced arcing putting stroke. Modern manufacturing techniques and current face technology update this timeless look.
The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet featuring a plumbing-neck hosel for moderate toe flow suited to a slight inside-to-inside stroke. Its milled steel body is paired with a black anodized aluminum insert to increase perimeter weighting and aid alignment. A left-handed version is available.
The Fastback 2 Long Design offers a longer, heavier variant with the same head shape and neck as the standard Fastback 2 but adds stability with tungsten sole weights, a 38-inch length, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft, targeting players seeking a steadier putting stroke. Left-handed options are also offered.
Face Technology and Design Focused on Control
All Studio-Style putters incorporate a Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a Chain-Link milling pattern. Preferred over other materials in internal tests, this carbon steel reduces vibration duration, producing a short, controlled sound and supporting consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert and enhances durability, while the milling reduces contact points between the ball and the face to soften the feel.
The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 are offered in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, retailing at €529. The Fastback 2 Long Design is exclusively available in 38 inches with a retail price of €599. These new Studio-Style putters have been available in golf shops since February 12.
