Scotty Cameron Expands Studio-Style Putter Line with Three New Models

Three new Scotty Cameron putters – Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design merge classic looks with advanced face technology.

Based in Carlsbad, California, the Titleist subsidiary unveils three new putters in their Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design models complete the lineup, complementing Scotty Cameron’s blade and mid-mallet offerings with configurations aimed at different toe-flow profiles and putting strokes.

The Studio-Style line combines classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet designs, focusing on refined designs enhanced by technical innovations for controlled feel and consistent ball speeds. A central feature is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a Chain-Link milling pattern, impacting sound and vibration on impact without altering feedback or ball roll consistency.

Introducing the New Studio-Style Putter Models

The Santa Fe model revisits a decades-old design inspired by the Newport shape. Its curved hosel creates pronounced toe flow, suited for players with an arced putting stroke and enhancing face angle perception throughout the stroke. Classic aesthetics meet modern manufacturing and the latest face technology.

The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the previous Studio-Style Fastback, featuring a plumbing-neck hosel that promotes moderate toe flow favoring a slightly inside-to-inside stroke path. The milled steel head is combined with a black anodized aluminum insert between toe and heel to increase perimeter weighting and provide an alignment aid. A left-handed version is available.

The Fastback 2 Long Design offers a longer, heavier variant of the Fastback 2 with the same head shape and hosel but enhanced stability. At 38 inches long, it features tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft targeting a steadier, smoother putting stroke. Left-handed models are also offered.

Putter Face and Design: Focus on Feedback and Control

All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with Chain-Link milling. Internal tests favored carbon steel for its ability to reduce impact vibration time, producing a short, controlled sound while supporting consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert and enhances durability. The milling pattern reduces ball-face contact points, further dampening impact noise.

The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 are offered in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches with a retail price of €529. The Fastback 2 Long Design is only available at 38 inches, retailing at €599. These new Studio-Style putters have been available in golf retail since February 12.
