The season finale of the overall earnings ranking, the “Race to Dubai“, will be held in a play-off format after five “Global Swings” and the “Back 9”. The final DP World Tour Championship will determine the winner of the season in Dubai in November.

Another American golfer, Lexi Thompson, is set to start her first round at 13:58 from the 1st tee. She is joined by Rose Zhang from the USA and Minjee Lee from Australia. For their second round, they will tee off at 8:13 from the 10th tee.

Jennifer Kupcho, also from the USA, will play her first round at 7:51 from the 10th tee, along with Linn Grant from Sweden and Lottie Woad (a) from England. Their next round commences at 13:36 from the 1st tee.

Allisen Corpuz, another American, starts her first round at 8:02 from the 1st tee. Her playing partners include Megan Schofill (a) from USA and Ruoning Yin. Their second round is scheduled for 13:47 from the 10th tee.

Cheyenne Knight, representing the USA, will tee off at 7:40 from the 1st tee in her first round. Her group includes Bailey Tardy from USA and Akie Iwai from Japan. Their second round starts at 13:25 from the 10th tee.

Charges against Scottie Scheffler dropped

Yesterday,Jefferson County Attorney Mike O’Connell announced that the four charges against Scottie Scheffler will be dismissed. Scheffler was charged with charges including reckless driving and second-degree assault of a police officer following the events of May 17.

Scottie Scheffler’s explanation of the events “corroborated by the evidence”

Leading prosecutor Mike O’Connell: “Mr. Scheffler’s characterization that this was ‘a big misunderstanding’ is corroborated by the evidence. Mr Scheffler’s actions and the evidence surrounding their exchange during this misunderstanding do not satisfy the elements of any criminal offenses. For these reasons, I now tender to the courts a motion and order to dismiss all these charges in this case against Mr. Scheffler with prejudice.” According to Rex Hoggard, a NBC golf journalist, the announcement also means that there will be no further charges against the world number one, even if there is new evidence.

Both Scottie Scheffler and Bryan Gillis, the police officer, made comments after the prosecutor’s announcement. Scottie Scheffler: ” I hold no ill will toward officer Gillis. I wish to put this incident behind me and move on, and I hope he will do the same. I appreciate the support during the past two weeks and want to again encourage everyone to remember the real tragedy of May 17.”

The Sundridge Park Golf Club in London enjoyed sunny skies and fantastic fun at its 38th AM-AM event last weekend. The event was a huge success, featuring a Gala Dinner that included tropical cocktails, delectable canapés from Copper Ceylon, and entertainment provided by comedian Aaron James. The highlight of the event was an auction that raised over £21,000.

The AM-AM event was vibrant, with participants donning amazing and creative costumes. The Burke Costas emerged as the winners with an impressive 85 points. Congratulations are in order for their excellent performance!
