Mizuno JPX ONE: New Woods Featuring High-Tech Faces for More Speed and Control

Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series – drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids with high-tech faces for enhanced speed, control, and classic Mizuno feel.

The Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno, founded in 1906, presents its new family of woods. The Mizuno JPX ONE series includes a new driver, various fairway woods, and hybrids designed to redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel.

Mizuno JPX ONE: Driver with NANOALLOY Technology

The centerpiece is the JPX ONE driver, the world’s first driver featuring NANOALLOY face technology. Developed in cooperation with Japanese chemical and materials company Toray, a novel microscopic polymer dispersion dynamically alters the face’s elasticity upon impact. This material stores and releases more energy than traditional titanium or composite faces, generating higher ball speeds across a larger hitting area.

Combined with the newly developed CORTECH face, up to 0.35 mm thinner than previous generations, the CORAREA (high-speed rebound zone) is increased by over 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno released two driver models: the regular JPX ONE with a slightly larger head for higher stability and straighter ball flight, and the JPX ONE SELECT featuring a more compact, tour-proven shape with neutral to fade-biased weighting. Both models include adjustable weighting systems and a Quick-Switch hosel for precise launch and spin customization.

Fairway Woods: CORTECH Technology for Maximum Energy Transfer

The JPX ONE fairway woods feature a redesigned CORTECH chamber with varied internal spacing between sole and chamber wall. This geometry maximizes energy transfer across the entire face by allowing flexion towards the toe and heel without losing center face efficiency.

Each head incorporates a composite crown saving critical grams at the top, lowering the center of gravity for higher launch and reduced spin. A MAS1C steel face with variable thickness ensures efficient energy transfer on impact, while the new sole enhances turf interaction for cleaner contact and consistent ball speeds from diverse lies. Offered with lofts ranging from 15° to 24°, the JPX ONE fairway woods deliver an ideal blend of speed, forgiveness, and playable ball flight for golfers seeking effortless distance with traditional Mizuno feel.

JPX ONE Hybrids: Compact Design with Fairway Wood Technology

The hybrids carry the fairway wood design philosophy into a more compact, iron-like shape. Their waffle crown structure increases face stability and allows mass to be positioned deeper and further back in the head for optimal launch and spin control.

Like the fairway woods, the hybrids feature a MAS1C face paired with a CORTECH chamber and the aforementioned sole design. Available lofts include 19°, 22°, 25°, and 28°, providing a seamless transition from long irons to fairway woods.
