Mizuno JPX ONE: New Woods with High-Tech Faces for Speed and Control

Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series featuring drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids with high-tech faces for enhanced speed, control, and signature feel.

Founded in 1906, Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno unveils its new family of woods. The Mizuno JPX ONE series includes a new driver, along with various fairway woods and hybrids, designed to redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel.

Mizuno JPX ONE: Driver with NANOALLOY Technology

The centerpiece is the JPX ONE Driver – the world’s first driver featuring NANOALLOY face technology. Developed in partnership with material manufacturer Toray, Mizuno created a microscopic polymer dispersion that dynamically changes the face elasticity at impact. This material stores and releases more energy than traditional titanium or composite faces, generating higher ball speeds across a larger hitting area.

The newly developed CORTECH face, up to 0.35 mm thinner than previous versions, increases the CORAREA (high-speed rebound zone) by over 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno offers two driver models: the standard JPX ONE with a larger head for stability and straighter ball flights, and the JPX ONE SELECT with a compact, tour-proven shape featuring a neutral to fade bias. Both have adjustable weight systems and a Quick-Switch hosel allowing precise launch and spin tuning.

Fairway Woods: CORTECH Technology for Maximum Energy Transfer

The JPX ONE fairway woods incorporate a new CORTECH chamber where the internal spacing between sole and chamber wall is varied to maximize energy transfer with face flexing toward the toe and heel without reducing efficiency at the center. Each head features a lightweight composite crown that lowers the center of gravity, promoting higher launch and reduced spin. A MAS1C steel face with variable thickness maximizes energy transfer efficiency, while the redesigned sole improves turf interaction for cleaner contact and consistent ball speeds from varied lies. Available with lofts from 15° to 24°, these woods balance speed, forgiveness, and playable ball flight with the characteristic Mizuno feel.

JPX ONE Hybrids: Compact Design Using Fairway Wood Technology

The JPX ONE hybrids share the fairway woods’ design philosophy but in a more compact, iron-like shape. Their waffle-crown structure increases face stability and allows engineers to position weight lower and further back for optimal launch and spin control. These hybrids also feature a MAS1C face paired with a CORTECH chamber and the new sole design. Offered in lofts from 19°, 22°, 25°, and 28°, they provide a seamless transition from long irons to fairway woods.
