Mizuno JPX ONE: New High-Tech Woods for Speed and Control

Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series featuring drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids with high-tech faces for enhanced speed, control, and classic Mizuno feel.

Founded in 1906, the Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno presents its new family of woods. The Mizuno JPX ONE series includes a new driver as well as various fairway woods and hybrids, which according to the manufacturer redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel.

Mizuno JPX ONE Driver with NANOALLOY Technology

The centerpiece of the new woods is the JPX ONE driver – the world’s first driver with NANOALLOY face technology. In collaboration with Japanese chemical and materials company Toray, Mizuno developed a novel microscopic polymer dispersion that dynamically alters the face elasticity at impact. This material stores and releases more energy than traditional titanium or other composite designs, producing higher ball speeds over a significantly larger sweet spot.

Combined with the newly developed CORTECH face, which is up to 0.35 mm thinner than previous generations, the CORAREA (high-speed rebound zone) increased by more than 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno introduced two different driver models.

The regular JPX ONE driver features a larger clubhead for enhanced stability and straighter ball flight, while the JPX ONE SELECT offers a more compact, tour-proven shape with neutral to fade-biased weighting. Both models include adjustable weight systems and a quick-switch hosel for precise launch and spin customization.

Fairway Woods with CORTECH Technology for Maximum Energy Transfer

The JPX ONE series also introduces new fairway woods featuring a redesigned CORTECH chamber where the internal distance between sole and chamber walls is varied. This geometry maximizes energy transfer over the entire face without sacrificing center-face performance.

Each clubhead includes a surrounding composite crown to save weight high on the head, lowering the center of gravity for higher launch and reduced spin. A MAS1C steel face with variable thickness ensures efficient energy transfer at impact, while the newly designed sole improves turf interaction. With loft options from 15° to 24°, the JPX ONE fairway woods provide a combination of speed, forgiveness, and playable ball flight for golfers seeking effortless distance with Mizuno’s characteristic feel.

JPX ONE Hybrids: Compact Design with Fairway Wood Technology

The hybrids in the JPX ONE series adopt the fairway woods’ design philosophy in a more compact, iron-like shape. Their waffle-crown structure enhances face stability and allows engineers to position the mass deeper and further back in the head, optimizing launch and spin control.

Similar to the fairway woods, hybrids feature a MAS1C face paired with a CORTECH chamber and the innovative sole design. Available in lofts of 19°, 22°, 25°, and 28°, they provide seamless transition from long irons to fairway woods.
