Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series – drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids with high-tech faces for more speed, control, and classic Mizuno feel.
Founded in 1906, Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno presents its new family of woods. The Mizuno JPX ONE series consists of a new driver as well as various fairway woods and hybrids, designed to redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel according to the manufacturer.
Mizuno JPX ONE: Driver with NANOALLOY Technology
At the heart of the new woods is the JPX ONE driver – the world’s first driver with NANOALLOY face technology. In collaboration with the Japanese chemical and materials manufacturer Toray, Mizuno developed a novel microscopic polymer dispersion that dynamically changes the elasticity of the clubface at impact. This material stores and releases more energy upon impact than traditional titanium or composite constructions, resulting in higher ball speeds over a much larger sweet spot.
Combined with the newly developed CORTECH face, which is up to 0.35 mm thinner than previous generations, the so-called CORAREA (high-speed rebound zone) is increased by more than 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno introduced two different driver models.
The regular JPX ONE driver features a slightly larger clubhead for increased stability and a straighter ball flight, while the JPX ONE SELECT offers a more compact, tour-tested shape with neutral to fade-biased weighting. Both models include adjustable weight systems and a Quick-Switch hosel to precisely tune launch and spin to individual needs.
Fairway Woods: CORTECH Technology for Maximum Energy Transfer
The JPX ONE series also includes new fairway woods featuring a newly designed CORTECH chamber, where the internal distance between the sole and chamber wall is deliberately varied. This geometry maximizes energy transfer across the entire face through flexion toward the toe and heel without sacrificing center impact performance.
Each clubhead has a surrounding composite crown that saves critical grams up top and lowers the center of gravity, promoting higher launch and reduced spin. A MAS1C steel face with variable thickness ensures maximum efficiency in energy exchange at impact, while the all-new sole improves interaction with the turf for cleaner contact and more consistent ball speeds from various lies. Available with lofts from 15° to 24°, the JPX ONE fairway woods offer the ideal combination of ball speed, forgiveness, and playable ball flight for golfers seeking effortless distance with the signature Mizuno feel.
JPX ONE Hybrids: Compact Design with Fairway Wood Technology
The hybrids in the JPX ONE series adopt the fairway wood design philosophy but in a more compact, iron-like shape. Their waffle crown structure enhances face stability and allows Mizuno engineers to position saved mass deeper and further back in the clubhead, supporting optimal launch and maximum spin control.
Like the fairway woods, the hybrids feature a MAS1C face combined with a CORTECH chamber and the innovative sole design. Available with lofts of 19°, 22°, 25°, and 28°, they provide a seamless transition from long irons to fairway woods.
