Mizuno JPX ONE: New Clubs with High-Tech Faces for More Speed and Control

Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series – drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids with advanced faces for more speed, control, and signature Mizuno feel.

The Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno, founded in 1906, presents its new family of clubs in the woods category. The Mizuno JPX ONE series includes a new driver as well as various fairway woods and hybrids designed to redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel according to the manufacturer.

Mizuno JPX ONE: Driver with NANOALLOY Technology

The centerpiece is the JPX ONE driver – the world’s first driver featuring NANOALLOY face technology. Developed in collaboration with Japanese material manufacturer Toray, Mizuno created a novel microscopic polymer dispersion that dynamically changes the face’s elasticity at impact. This material stores and releases more energy than traditional titanium or composite constructions, generating higher ball speeds across a larger sweet spot.

Paired with the newly developed CORTECH face, which is up to 0.35mm thinner than previous generations, the CORAREA (high-speed rebound zone) increases by over 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno offers two driver models: the standard JPX ONE driver with a larger clubhead for greater stability and straighter ball flight, and the JPX ONE SELECT featuring a more compact, tour-proven shape with neutral to fade-biased weighting. Both come with adjustable weight systems and a Quick-Switch hosel to precisely tune launch and spin to individual preferences.

Fairway Woods: CORTECH Technology for Maximum Energy Transfer

The JPX ONE fairway woods incorporate a redesigned CORTECH chamber, varying the internal spacing between sole and crown to maximize flexible energy transfer across the entire face from toe to heel without compromising the center. Each clubhead has a composite crown that saves weight high up, lowering the center of gravity for higher launch and reduced spin.

A MAS1C steel face with variable thickness ensures efficient energy exchange at impact, while a new sole design optimizes turf interaction, improving consistency from various lies. With lofts ranging from 15° to 24°, these woods offer the ideal balance of speed, forgiveness, and playable ball flight for golfers seeking effortless distance with the characteristic Mizuno feel.

JPX ONE Hybrids: Compact Design with Fairway Wood Technology

The hybrids adopt the fairway woods’ design philosophy but in a more compact, iron-like form. Their waffle-crown structure enhances face stability and allows mass to be repositioned lower and further back in the clubhead, promoting optimal launch and spin control. Equipped similarly with MAS1C faces, CORTECH chambers, and advanced soles, the hybrids come in lofts from 19° to 28°, bridging the gap seamlessly between long irons and fairway woods.
