Membership Renewed, No Suspension: Koepka Immediate Return to PGA Tour

First start already at the Farmers, Vijay Singh returns, Charley Hull launching on YouTube soon. The Back Nine.

As expected, Brooks Koepka has officially withdrawn from the 2026 LIV Golf season starting February 7 in Riyadh; the five-time major champion will remain connected to the rival circuit but needs more family time, according to LIV CEO Scott McNeil. Koepka, known for his competitive spirit at the highest level, found limited motivation in LIV. He joined LIV in 2022 mainly due to injury concerns and to secure a solid retirement fund. Questions remain about financial settlements and his ownership status in the Smash GC LIV team, now captained by Talor Gooch.

Speculation is rife about where Koepka will next compete — the DP World Tour where he would be immediately eligible, perhaps with a fine, or the PGA Tour where he faces a one-year suspension after his last LIV appearance, reduced from a lifetime ban. According to ESPN’s Mark Schlabach, Koepka formally applied to reactivate his PGA Tour membership last Friday.
