As expected, Brooks Koepka has withdrawn from the 2026 LIV Golf season starting February 7 in Riyadh; the five-time major winner remains connected to the rival circuit but needs more time for his family, according to LIV CEO Scott McNeil’s official statement. In 2022, he had joined LIV mainly due to injury concerns and to secure a comfortable retirement fund. Speculation abounds regarding which tours Koepka will play on next. Immediate eligibility on the DP World Tour might require a penalty payment, while his PGA Tour membership could be reactivated following a previously imposed one-year suspension for LIV involvement, a sanction that has since been considerably softened. According to ESPN journalist Mark Schlabach, Koepka formally applied last Friday to reactivate his PGA Tour membership and rejoin the player pool.
