Membership Renewed, No Suspension: Koepka Back on PGA Tour Immediately

First start already at the Farmers, Vijay Singh aims for a comeback, Charley Hull to launch YouTube channel soon. The Back Nine.

As expected, Brooks Koepka has withdrawn from the LIV Golf League 2026 season starting February 7 in Riyadh; the five-time major champion remains connected to the rival circuit but needs more family time. LIV CEO Scott McNeil confirmed it was an amicable agreement. Koepka, known as a competitor motivated by high-level contests, found the LIV setup less stirring. His 2022 switch to LIV was mainly due to injury concerns and securing retirement funds. Questions remain whether he had to buy out or repay part of his guaranteed payouts, and if he remains an owner of LIV team Smash GC, now captained by Talor Gooch.

Speculation grows over where Koepka will next compete — immediately eligible for the DP World Tour, possibly with penalties, or on the PGA Tour, where he faces a one-year suspension since his last LIV event, though prior lifetime bans have been softened. ESPN’s Mark Schlabach reports Koepka formally applied last Friday to reactivate his PGA Tour membership after it was not renewed post-2022.
