Membership Renewed, No Ban: Koepka Immediately Back on PGA Tour

First start already at the Farmers, Vijay Singh also making a comeback, Charley Hull soon on YouTube. The Back Nine.

As expected: Brooks Koepka has officially withdrawn from the 2026 LIV Golf season starting February 7 in Riyadh; the five-time major winner remains connected to the rival circuit but needs more family time, according to LIV CEO Scott McNeil’s official statement. Koepka, a competitor who thrives in high-level competition, saw limited motivation in LIV. He joined LIV in 2022 mainly due to injury concerns and to secure a solid retirement fund. Questions remain about possible buyouts or salary returns and whether he retains ownership of his LIV team Smash GC, now captained by Talor Gooch.

Speculation arises about which tours Koepka will return to next: the DP World Tour, where immediate playing rights may come at a penalty, or the PGA Tour, where he faces a one-year suspension since his last LIV event, after lifetime bans were softened. According to ESPN’s Mark Schlabach, Koepka formally applied last Friday to reactivate his PGA Tour membership and rejoin the player ranks after not renewing post-2022.
