Field Expands to 57 Players in 2026

The LIV Golf League will launch the 2026 season with an expanded roster. The league will feature 57 players, an increase from previous smaller fields. Thirteen teams will each include four players, complemented by five wildcard players who will compete independently but hold guaranteed entry to all 13 regular season events.

New Qualification Opportunities

In 2026, LIV Golf Promotions will award three direct tour cards for the upcoming season, up from two in prior years.

LIV Golf Promotions 2026: A Platform for Rising Stars

The third LIV Golf Promotions event takes place January 8-11 at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida. This central qualifier is a 72-hole stroke play tournament featuring a unique tiered scoring system with multiple score resets to increase competition dynamics.

On day one, the top 20 players plus ties advance to day two, after which scores are reset. Day two fields are augmented by pre-qualified players, with the top 20 and ties moving on again.

Another reset happens before day three. A 36-hole combined scoring across days three and four determines final standings. The top three players earn spots in the LIV Golf League, while the top ten secure full status for the 2026 International Series.
