LET hosts Access Series in Germany, Jason Day clarifies, US amateur skips Masters, ball rollback delayed. The Back Nine.

Last Friday it became official: Brooks Koepka is on the final entry list for the PGA Tour at the Farmers Insurance Open, between Jake Knapp and Matt Kuchar. Currently ranked 246th in the Official World Golf Ranking, he is eligible through his third PGA Championship win three years ago and the PGA Tour’s Returning Member Program, which has welcomed the five-time major winner back and even started advertising with him. Fans’ interest in the 35-year-old’s first PGA Tour appearance since the 2022 Valspar Championship is expected to be huge.

With this entry, Koepka’s comeback is official. The Floridian travels today to Torrey Pines, and he is mainly nervous about this crucial week, or better said, curious about the reception. \”I realize I have a lot of work to do rebuilding relationships with my fellow players. I know my move to LIV at the time upset many,\” Koepka admitted in a recent phone interview. \”There will definitely be players happy and others angry.\”

\”There’s probably a mix of ‘we’re glad you’re back, welcome home’ and ‘you shouldn’t be here.’ I understand everyone’s perspective. Maybe I should have taken a year off, and I’m very grateful the Tour gave me this opportunity.\”

Wyndham Clark, also in the field, represents some critical voices. \”If anyone is upset, I need to rebuild those relationships,\” said the returnee. He plans to seek private talks away from media ears and microphones. \”More than just playing golf happens at Torrey Pines. I’m excited and will be relieved after this first week — dealing with players, media, and some difficult conversations. But I look forward to having those talks.\”
